New work from my studio

I have just finished my first ever painting on aquabord, a board with a clay surface designed for painting with watercolours. After the painting is finished it is sealed and varnished and then can be framed but does not require glass covering to protect it.

I was delighted with these shells captured in the splintered wood on a piece of driftwood washed up by some stormy weather so took a picture and have just finished the painting.
